BMW Bavaria C Professional RDS Radio Code & Decoding Service

BMW Bavaria C Professional RDS
Becker BE 1801

As originally fitted to :

BMW

This unit will not function correctly if operated without the rest of the external hideaway tuner equipment fully connected.

Please note that code entry is only possible when the display shows "CODE". The display will not show anything as the code is entered, and there is a 5 second time limit to enter the code before the unit switches itself back off. If the display continually shows "CODE WAIT" then it is codelocked and needs to be left switched on for up to two hours before a further attempt at code entry is possible. If it does not reset after this time, then all of your code entry attempts may have been used up, and the unit will need to be sent to us to be decoded and reset, details of which can be found below.

If you have lost your radio code, the Security Code for this Radio is available NOW using our fully automated INSTANT RADIO CODE service. Once your Radio details have been submitted, your Code will be ready - Instantly !! - No Waiting !!

To remove the Radio, you will first have to remove the front facia of the stereo. Gently prise this forwards, and the whole black plastic front panel will unclip revealing two allen key headed screws at the sides that are holdng the unit in. Using a 2.5mm Allen Key or a Torx T10, unscrew the bolts couter clockwise until a small resistance is felt. The bolts will not come out, but are moving a sliding bar at the side of the radio. Once a slight resistance has been felt, the radio can be withdrawn. The leads are often very fiddly to remove and require the plastic housing at the rear plug to be slid in an upwards direction to unlock the clip holding the plug in. This is often very tight.

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows
" CODE "
Enter CODE in the order it is read:
For Example, to Enter Code 1234
Press Preset 1 then 2 then 3 then 4
The Code will Enter Itself Automatically
