Removal of the radio can appear a little daunting, but is actually quite straightforward if you take a little time and care. Generally, if fitted to a GS300, then the removal instructions are as follows. Grab hold of the lower ashtray internal compartment and pull forwards, this is held in with sprung clips, but will release with a bit of pressure. The cable is long enough to be put aside without unplugging. Gently prize forwards the upper air vent and display panel. This too will come forward, but will take a bit of effort to get it started. Be careful not to mark anything if using any form of prying bar. Once removed and put to one side, the two upper and two lower bolts are visible which are retaining the rest of the radio and air con section. Once removed, the leads can then be unplugged. The radio is then unbolted from the frame by two large screws at either side.

Code Entry as Follows:

Switch Radio On - Display Shows

Press & Hold the " TUNE " Button & Preset "1"
The Display Will Show " ^v - - - "
Press preset " 1 " repeatedly for 1st Digit
Press preset " 2 " repeatedly for 2nd Digit
Press preset " 3 " repeatedly for 3rd Digit
If the correct code number is now shown
Press " SCAN " To Enter
The Display Will Show "SEC" And Turn Off
