This 1967 Volkswagen Beetle has been named Banana Smoothie for obvious reasons!
Much as we would like to claim credit for this fabulous looking installation, We can`t ! Simon came to us with this very good system, looking good and sounding good. But, he knew that whatever he had, we could probably make it sound better, and we did! Which only goes to prove, that even the best installations still need a little "D`N`D Magic !!"

Detail
Now you see what we mean by a nice install !
Attention to detail is fantastic !
All of the Kenwood amplifiers have been colour coded to match the exterior.
|
Front Doors
The crossovers were rewired, as a couple of connections were out of phase, which means that certain sounds, from each door would cancel each other out. This is quite a common mistake, (especially with two crossovers per door.)
Check those "+" and "-" connections carefully !

Rear Seats
The rear seats and rear shelf have all been fabricated out of a large bass enclosure, and we`re sure you`ll agree, that it looks amazing. The bass enclosure, however, was the wrong size for the speakers, but we ensured that any modifications that we made, left the cosmetics untouched.

Front End
There are so many modifications to this vehicle !
Smooth Dash, Quickshift, Dechromed, Lowered, Empi Wheels, Rear Vents, Center console . . . . . . . .
the list is endless.

Banana Smoothie
Some cars have looks.
Some cars have sounds.
Very few have both to this extent !
