DND Services Ltd :: Database :: Vauxhall CAR 400

Vauxhall CAR 400
DC396/75 90.452.500
Vauxhall CAR 400 Philips Radio / Cassette as fitted to a wide range of Vauxhalls.

Please note that code entry is only possible with the ignition switched on, and in the order shown below. If the display shows a number less than 10, and the word SAFE, then the unit may be codelocked. If this is the case, leave it switched on for up to two hours and a further attempt at code entry should be possible. We are able to decode and reset this radio if you send it to us.

To remove the Radio, you may need to remove four small Allen Key screws in the front panel before the removal tools can be inserted through the holes. Once the removal tools are inserted, push in until a click is felt, and then withdraw the radio. The cage and leads will probably remain fixed to the car.

Removal Tools Required : PC5-83
